The same painter, the objects from the same collection, the same colors , EXCEPT for the background choice, black, and with that it all becomes a serious painting. The hap hazard arrangement of excitable colors gets an unexpected stability from the black. This painting series of still lifes on black continues to evolve in a non-judgmental way for the time being. The paintings will become what they will become and they will tell me what I want to know: should they 'stay or should they go now..". And if they stay there may be trouble but if they stay there will double! (Homage to the CLASH)
