The Loveliness of Luminosity

I broke the rules yesterday by spending most of my time painting one object rather than working the painting through evenly. The danger of  focusing only on this one cup is that I might have painted the cup all wrong in relationship the the other, under developed, areas of the painting. Am I worried about this...not really. I did it for love. I was just plain seduced by the calling of its luminosity. If I have to repaint the cup for he sake of the painting...I will do that. But at least I painted the luminous cup in a day of joy, just for me. And so it goes.
