SoWa Art Walk May 4th, 2014

Following on the warm up painting in the previous post, this is the formal painting; taking in the elements of composition, form, value and color. This is not completed yet but I hope to have it ready to show at the SoWa May Art Walk this Sunday from 11 AM to 6 PM at Studio #223B 450 Harrison Ave, Boston, MA.

Sunday is the day to get acquainted with the wonderful scene in the formally industrial South End area, south of Washington Street, now known as SoWa. Sunday is the opening day for the SoWa Sunday Market and the start of Studio #223B Sunday Hours(Sundays 12- 4 PM) for the 2014 season May through October.

The warm up / preliminaries are working. This painting came together in a relatively short time for me. It would be great to have this ready for Sunday but it's more important that it's done when it's done. The painting demands what the painting needs.
