The scrape outs and corrections that were made a week ago did make for a productive new week of painting. This will be done in time for Newton Open Studios, April 5th and 6th from 11-5 PM. As always, there was every intention of painting two paintings this month but paintings are painted in their own time. And since I nearly painted everything twice maybe I can call it two?

This painting "Tries To Play Well with Others" should be completed by tomorrow and then the fun of Open Studio preparations begin, packing art work: transporting it in from Boston, hanging, setting up, labeling and looking forward to seeing everyone.
