There's nothing like a little knee surgery to interrupt painting and blogging schedules. Here is what the painting looked liked before and after Monday's half day of painting. The most noticeable of all the additions being the handles. Since it's important to paint standing up in order to stand back from the piece, painting will resume when the crutches are gone and I can stand. And so it goes.
