On the Easel - Day Nine (should really be called day 8.5)

From Day Eight
To Day Nine

If truth be told, this should be called day Eight and A Half. It was not a full day of painting. Even with that, the going is slow from this point on. The observations of reflective colors and small details take longer to observe resolve in between the obvious. Once something of note is resolved there is much thinking and deciding as to whether the addition of the color or detail will make the painting stronger. Often when a new element is added an old element needs to be adjusted. And so it goes.
Titles? Well, since you asked, a title usually finds me as I think about the painting. It was during this SLOW painting session that I was finally able to hear "Coming Together".

"Coming Together"  oil on panel 36 X 36 inches (91.5 x 91.5 cm)
