Ahh.. but sometimes " plans going astray" leads one down the paths of unexpected opportunities and ideas. This is what has happend this Spring with each unexpected commission request that has come in. Sure, the plan to paint 'Laundry Lines" has been diverted and delayed but by setting up Not So Still Lives new ways to think open; different paths of exlporations are presented. So just when one thinks a subject may have given all there is to get...there is the promise of more.  Joy!

This comissioned painting is life size but it's been a tantalizing exercise because the urge is building for something bigger, more risky and unknown. So much for plans.
