Thanks to commission work, I have re-visited subjects which I have painted before . Those who know my work from early on will recognize onion, garlic, and shallots; favorite subjects of mine which helped launch my painting career.When I received a request for an artichoke painting in May of this year, I was very happy to re-visit the much loved subject matter: vegetables.
